2023 has been an exciting year for the Swiss food ecosystem. Partners have invested in research and specialist hubs
to strengthen our innovation infrastructure and secured the funding they need to expand into new markets. And as a Valley, we've launched new tools to facilitate access to joint resources and built strong relationships with leading food system actors across the globe.
But the fact remains that we, as humans, are not on track to meet the SDG targets. To accelerate our progress, I'd like to see us make 2024 the year for impact at scale. Collectively, we have all the knowledge, skills and resources we need. Now we need to truly work as an ecosystem to ensure we spot synergies and make sure that no one will lose out in the transition. So what can we do to make this ambition a reality?
I'll be sharing a few ideas here in the coming months, starting with some food for thought on the vital role of our global partners. But most of all, I'd love to hear what YOU think. How are you planning to team up with other ecosystem actors in 2024 - and how can the Valley empower you to make it happen? Mull it over while enjoying a break with friends and family at a time when food is more than just nutrition, but also culture, family and tradition. And when inspiration strikes, I'd love to hear from you.
