Celebrating 100 Valley members We're very excited to reach this important milestone of 100 members - but it's not about the numbers. More members means a stronger joint voice - and more impact. This post illustrates the breadth of our joint contribution to the future of food. Thanks to each and every one of you for joining us on this journey - as a member or as an international friend of Valley.
As we slide into the summer and the tide of emails starts to wane, I invite you to take a moment to think about what else we can do in the autumn to build on this momentum. I'd love to hear your thoughts.
SFNV's President, Martin Vetterli, is quietly confident about the future of food
Martin Vetterli was unanimously voted in for another term as SFNV President at SFNVβs General Assembly in May. We sat down with Martin to talk science, vegetables and
why he is quietly confident about the future of food.
The Valley core team and SFNV members EPFL, Agroscope, Planted, Embion Technologies and Eracal Therapeutics were recently invited to introduce DSMβs Supervisory Board to the Swiss food ecosystem.
Christina, Yasemin, Executive Committee member Christian Schwab and SFNV Member Dhanesh Kothari visited our friends at Foodvalley NL and explored potential collaborations.
Christina and a number of SFNV startups were invited to represent Switzerland at the swisstech booth at VivaTech - Europeβs largest startup and tech event.
Sparking off collaborations around precision nutrition
SFNV worked alongside member Firmenich to convene a Precision Nutrition Demo Day. 11 startups, including many SFNV members, were invited to pitch their innovations.
In just a few weeks weβll be launching our 4th Impact Platform on the Future of Farming. We'll share more information about the launch event on LinkedIn soon. Can't wait that long? Check out the page below to find out how SFNV members are innovating in this space.
