Food has always been a key part of Switzerland's identity. Traditionally an agricultural country, today our small Alpine nation is home to a host of global food companies, world-class universities and innovative startups that make up our dynamic food ecosystem.
In this quarter's edition, we're taking a closer look at what it really means to be a food nation. Our friends at Switzerland Global Enterprise, PeakBridge VC and FAO share what Switzerland has to offer on the global stage while colleagues from the Canton of Fribourg explore how they're translating the national vision into impactful, ecosystem-led local projects.
We believe that food system transformation is very much
a team sport. And national and global partnerships will play a vital role in enabling us to move beyond identifying the problems and building the solutions to allowing innovators to truly implement their solutions at scale.
